Victorian Bears Garden Tea Party

This candle garden features the Victorian Bears when they were young.  In this arrangement they are having a lovely outdoor tea party in the garden.  They are sitting and enjoying the lovely spring weather and sipping on some lovely tea which I imagine to be Earl Grey or something else appropriately Victoria in nature.  I love working with the bear figurines and candles, they are amongst my favorite elements to work with when I am doing candle gardens.  Something about bears fires up my imagination.  I imagine that if bears could understand humans they would be quite surprised to find out how ingrained the bear is in our culture.  The way I understand it, Theodore Roosevelt is responsible for this cultural anomaly, due to his reluctance to shoot a bear cub on a hunting trip.  Stuffed bears were re-named “Teddy Bears” to honor his noble act.
